6 Bodily Signs A Heart Attack Is Near

Your heart is one of the most important parts of your body. It pumps your blood where it needs to go and allows it to carry oxygen throughout your body.

Much like the rest of our body the heart is not as strong as we would like for it to be. Many people suffer from heart disease as it has been labeled the number one killer of adults in America. Heart disease kills over 600,000 people every year. This means heart disease is a very dangerous problem. It is even scary to think about having to live with heart disease, sure it can kill you but would you want to live knowing you could have a heart attack at any moment? That out of the blue one day, you could just end up hospitalized. This disease is widely associated with bone-crushing pain in the chest and sudden buckling of the knees. These symptoms can be anything from a slight fall to an all-out exorcism looking event. This can be extremely unsettling, and no one should have to endure these sorts of things, but sometimes we just can’t help it.

Here are six signs that you may be about to have a heart attack:

Irregular heartbeat

Being felt in conjunction with other symptoms this can be important to keep an eye on. If you’re experiencing rapid, irregular heartbeats, you should see a doctor. While it could range from anything like anxiety or heart disease it is definitely worth getting checked out.

Chest Tightness

People who have endured a heart attack and pulled through describe the feeling as a constant squeezing, some have even compared it to an elephant standing on their chest. This discomfort will usually start in the center of your chest and last a lot longer than a few minutes, it may even go away and come back frequently.

Sweating

Breaking out in a cold sweat while resting is never a good sign. When your skin becomes clammy and cold, it can be a sign of an imminent heart attack.

Fatigue

When combined with other symptoms sudden loss of energy can never be a good thing. This can be a sign of a heart attack in progress. This means your body is not receiving the oxygen it needs to keep you energized.

Shortness of breath

This with or without the chest tightness can be an indicator of an oncoming heart attack.

Upper body pains

You may even be having some pain in your arms, back, neck or jaw. These pains can also be signs that you’re going to be having a heart attack.

Your heart is very important, even though it is prone to many different sicknesses you should always keep in mind that your body sends you warning signs when bad things are about to happen. Remember these things and keep a check on your heart. Try to ensure it stays healthy. When your body is showing signs of heart problems, see a doctor as soon as possible.
